A calorifier is an indirect-fired water heater that produces hot water for heating and hot water systems without a burner. Using heat exchanger coils filled with hot fluid from solar collectors, boilers, or heat pumps, calorifiers are ideal for commercial and district heating applications. Copper manufacture enhances heat recovery while providing natural antibacterial properties that eliminate E. coli and Legionella. Commercial units are manufactured to S853 standards with custom design options for various heat sources.
